AMITABH BACHCHAN CYNOSURE OF ALL ON SATURDAY

It was a happy Saturday for the creamy people of Bangalore. The flood of people was seen in PVR and at two places in Bangalore as the Lamboo Bhai the great actor Amitabh Bachchan came to city with two purposes. The first one is participating in the home banner ‘Paa’ film screening with Karnataka ministers at PVR in the evening and prior to it he took part in the ‘RANN’ promotion activity with Kannada cinema prime actor Sudeep. The stylish Sudeep had acted with Amitabh Bachchan in ‘Rann’ that is all set for release all over India soon.

The reason why Amitabh Bachchan mainly came to city is to thank the Karnataka Government that gave 50 percent tax exemption to ‘Paa’ a film on ‘Proogeria’ disease in which the superstar has acted son to his son Abhisekh Bachchan. A new experiment film like ‘Taare Zamin Par’ got the right recognition of 50 percent ET exemption from Karnataka government.

At the PVR cinema the booing crowd was eagerly waiting to take a close look at the most charismatic actor of Indian cinema Amitabh bachchan. At PVR cinema hall Amitabh Bachchan sat with Karnataka chief minister Dr BS Yediyurappa on the left and Dr Ramachndre Gowda to the right and viewed the film ‘Paa’. National award winning actress Thara, Home Minister VS Acharya, Urban development and Law and Parliamentary affairs Minister Sureshkumar, DB Chandre Gowda Member of Parliament, Chief Minister son Raghavendra were among others watched the thought provoking film ‘Paa’.

At The Taj Residency on Saturday Amitabh Bachchan admitted he is a director’s actor. He remembered Dr Rajakumar the icon of Kannada cinema in the question answer session. In case I get a good offer I am ready to take a Kannada film said Amitabh Bachchan who has already appeared in the guest role of Kannada film ‘Amrutha Dhaare’ of director Nagathihalli Chandrasekhar.

Drawing his attention on actor Sudeep the pride of Kannada cinema Amitabh Bachchan said I felt very happy when I worked with him and he has very bright days ahead Amitabh made a forecast on Kannada actor.

Actor Sudeep speaking on this occasion said it is wrong Kannada actors get negative roles in Hindi films. I have a very challenging role in ‘Rann’ of Ram Gopal Verma he said.
